With 2017 upon us, it’s always a great time to start thinking of ways to improve your beauty routine. If your hair and skin have a good year, so will you! So, we have some must-do resolutions to make your hair and skin happy this new year.
Lay Off The Heat
Please, your hair is begging you: stop with blow dryers, flat irons, and curling irons! Make 2017 the year that you go a little more natural.
Take Your Makeup Off At Night
We understand that by the time 10 o’clock rolls around, the last thing you want to do is spend another 15 minutes a skin regimen. But listen, you can skip the 4-step regimen and simply use some makeup removing wipes. That way, you spend a quick 60 seconds removing your makeup and your skin is happy and so is your sleep schedule.
Get Regular Trims
It’s rumored by many that if you get your hair cut more often, it will grow faster. FALSE! Although regular trims don’t actually make your hair grow faster, what they can do is rid your ends of any splits or damage alleviating breakage. So, get your butt into a salon at least every five weeks and keep those ends looking healthy. You’ll be thanking us this time next year when you’ve finally accomplished the length you’ve been working towards.
Drink More Water
Remember when your mother would always tell you to drink more water? Well, she was right. Water can remove toxins from your body which can result is healthier skin and hair! So the next time you feel like your skin or hair is dry, take that as a sign to make the resolution to drink more water!
Stop Hoarding Product
We know how hard it is, when you are constantly buying new hair and skin products, to not throw away the olds one but it is so important! Check out this list and you’ll be surprised at the life-span of some of your products. You’ll miss them, but your skin and hair will thank you!
