The rewarding field of esthetics is growing every year due to the public’s interest in beautiful and healthy skin. You can help people achieve more youthful and glowing skin by learning esthetics, facials, and skin care best practices. The primary purpose of the Esthetician program is to train students in basic skin manipulative, skin care, preventive and anti-aging techniques, safety judgements, and professional work habits. These skills are necessary to pass the Oklahoma State Board examination for licensure and for competency in entry-level positions as an Esthetician, Skin Care Technician, Facialist or related career opportunities.

Students receive a “Dermalogica” student kit that will include all of the supplies and tools necessary to be successful as a student. Students gain knowledge in the classroom and on the salon floor where they perform facials on the general public.

You Will Learn The Following

  • Facial massage
  • Corrective makeup application
  • Hair removal
  • Makeup artistry
  • Theory of esthetics
  • Proper sanitation procedures
  • Effective communication
  • Client relations and customer service
